Their Story

In Loving Memory of My Mum... There are some bonds that time cannot weaken, and some love that distance, even the distance of eternity, can never diminish. Today, and every day, I honor the life of my mum, a woman whose heart, strength, and gentle grace shaped my world in ways words can hardly capture. My mum was a fighter. When colon cancer entered our lives, she faced it with a courage that left me in awe. Even on the hardest days, her spirit, her resilience, and her capacity to care for others never truly faltered. She carried her burden with a dignity that was uniquely her own, teaching me what true strength looks like. But beyond her courage, it is her warmth, her laughter, and the everyday moments of her presence that I miss the most. I miss the sound of her voice, the comfort of her hugs, and the way she always knew how to make everything feel a little bit brighter. She wasn’t just my mother; she was my haven, my guide, and my dearest friend. Though cancer took her from this world, it can never take away the love we shared, nor the pieces of her that live on inside of me. Every time I show kindness to others, every time I find strength when things are tough, and every time I look back at the beautiful memories we created together, I know she is still with me. Mum, losing you has broken my heart in ways I am still trying to navigate, but loving you was the greatest gift of my life. I miss you more than words can say, and I will carry you with me for as long as I live. Rest in peace, Mum. You are so deeply loved, and you will never, ever be forgotten.

  • Blood in or on your stool
  • Belly pain or cramps that don't go away
  • Weight loss you can't explain
